The good folks at Egg created a ‘modular design system that can flex across formats’ with a ‘responsive dot motif and a graphic framework built to move’.
I jumped in to bring it to life, transitioning the old logo into the new, and making sure it looked its best when it hit the screen at Cannes.

I always start my storyboards as pencil sketches. It’s a fast, playful way to brainstorm dozens of ideas without getting bogged down by colours or style. Instead, it lets me focus on composition, content, and pacing.

Using Cutover’s melodic characters, we crafted a rhythmic explainer with lively transitions to show how their platform gets every department playing in tune. A little motion symphony, powered by Cutover.

I’ve always felt like animators are bad jugglers. We just can’t handle thinking about multiple elements at a time. So something I always do is build an animatic, to help me focus on the timing and flow of an animation.
Making sure each visual hits each note perfectly, keeping the viewer engaged throughout and ensuring we don’t stay on each frame for too little or too long.
