I’ve always felt like animators are bad jugglers. We just can’t handle thinking about multiple elements at a time. So something I always do is build an animatic, to help me focus on the timing and flow of an animation.

Making sure each visual hits each note perfectly and keep the viewer engaged throughout and ensures we don’t stay on each frame for too little or too long.
